Bernhard Schauer

Schauer is one of three founders of La Maison Tea Royal, a Südsteiermark producer of sparkling tea at 0.0% ABV established in spring 2024. According to the producer, all three founders come from winemaking backgrounds, an origin that shapes their approach to alcohol-free drinks around structure, balance, origin and mouthfeel rather than lemonade-style sweetness. Alongside selected teas, herbs and spices, the cuvées are supplemented with grape seeds and grape skins from the founders' own family wineries to add depth, tannin and length.
