Background

Vincent Mesnage began his career in music, at Warner, and spent a few years at a record label. He then had a long career with international bands, where he was in charge of research and strategic marketing. He is a drummer influenced by jazz.[1]

Mesnage later joined McDonald's. He became the chief architect of the brand's worldwide repositioning towards more health, local sourcing and quality. As part of the Food Studio for McDonald's, he worked with a team developing new concepts across a wide range of categories, including quality and healthier eating, plant-based offerings, beverages and coffee. According to Grands Jardins, his work has involved travelling the world to study new food service offerings and new dietary models.[1]

Mesnage is a wine lover who discovered fine teas in 2015. He has travelled to India several times to explore the great tea gardens. He has also travelled there in connection with a nonprofit organization that helps underprivileged children in Kolkata. His first tea brand, Vasanta, was dedicated to India.[1]

Role & Contribution

Mesnage is an analyst of consumer trends. A WanderlusTea article describes his expertise as "world consumer trends and food behaviors."[2]

Mesnage co-founded Grands Jardins with Edouard Malbois. A November 2023 feature article reports that the two launched Grands Jardins in association with the tea brand Nunshen.[3],[4]
