Composition & Vinification
Mingqian Tea Buds — Base Leaf. The base is made from select tea leaves sourced from Fujian Province, China, described by Royal Blue Tea as the top production area for jasmine tea. The leaf consists of young tea buds with abundant white down, harvested before the Qingming solar term and known as 'Mingqian tea.' Royal Blue Tea characterizes this Mingqian tea as rare.[1],[2]
Fresh Jasmine Blossoms — Aromatic Layer. Fresh jasmine flowers provide the aromatic character. The Mingqian buds are repeatedly scented with the blossoms, layering their fragrance over the leaf to produce the tea's floral aroma and flavor.[1]
