Production. The tea is sourced from Hoshino Village, Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Only 600 g of finished tea was produced from a rare total harvest of 4 kg of hand-picked leaves.[1]

Production Philosophy

The infusion is drawn without heat, over a cold extraction lasting three days. The tea is produced by Shinya Yamaguchi, tea master at Royal Blue Tea, at Hoshino Tea Garden. It sits within the King of Green HIRO product group and is the third release in the Super Premium series.[1]

Blending & Carbonation

The hand-picked leaves undergo a non-heated cold extraction lasting three days. No heat is applied during the process.[1]

Recognition

The tea leaves used in King of Green HOSHINO Super Premium won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award in the Gyokuro category at the 70th National Tea Competition.[1]
