Bemuse is brewed, crafted, and canned in the UK.[4] Bemuse partnered with beekeeping experts at Bee1 to establish their own hive at an apiary situated at an 800-acre heritage site above the Neath valley, Wales.[7] Bemuse is described as being based on Britain's most ancient drink, reimagining mead for modern taste.[4] Bemuse's four flavours are based on traditional mead recipes.[4] Bemuse launched at the first edition of the No2Low Show in June 2021, shortly after the lifting of lockdown.[5] Bemuse celebrated its official birthday at the No2Low Show in September 2022, which partnered with the Hospitality Show.[5] Bemuse is a mead brand created by friends Anna Chalov and Nataliya Peretrutova.[6]
