Far & Søn Brewery was founded by Bo Rino Christiansen and Fabian Xander Nørregaard.

What They Make

Far & Søn Brewery's lineup comprises three beverages: Far & Søn Botanicals, Far & Søn Hibiscus, and Far & Søn Gentle Thai. Botanicals is presented as a sparkling fermented champagne alternative, while Hibiscus and Gentle Thai are built around a floral infusion and a citrus-and-herb blend respectively.[1]

Techniques & Ingredients

Across the three bottlings, the house formula is a short ingredient list: a fruit juice or botanical infusion, water, sugar, and citric acid (E330), with the aromatic identity carried by herbs, citrus leaf, roots, or flowers rather than by a long compound of extracts.

Fermentation. Fermentation appears in the range through Far & Søn Botanicals, a sparkling fermented bottling positioned as a champagne alternative.

Herbal & aromatic components. The herbal layer differs by bottling.

  • Far & Søn Botanicals — lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and herbs
  • Far & Søn Gentle Thai — organic Thai basil and organic ginger juice

Production standards. Far & Søn Brewery's products are Organic Certified, Sulfite-Free, GMO-Free, Vegan, and Gluten-Free.[2]
