Origins & Story
OMAFRIDA was founded in 2022 by Adeline Polus in Guéthary, a small town on the Basque coastline of France. It began as an artisanal brand of organic 0% ABV beverages built around grapes and natural ingredients.[1],[2]
According to the B.B.N feature on the founder, the project was inspired by the habit of Adeline Polus's grandmother of diluting her wine with sparkling water, which led Polus to create a sparkling beverage made from grapes and natural ingredients.[1]

Philosophy & What Sets Them Apart
OMAFRIDA positions itself, in its own marketing, as a joyful and natural alternative to alcoholic sparkling drinks, made from organic ingredients. The producer describes the range as a boutique label of organic alcohol-free sparkling wines built from grapes and natural ingredients. Its products are stated to be 100% made in France.[4]
Techniques & Ingredients
OMAFRIDA builds its cuvées on a grape base — either unfermented grape juice or a naturally sparkling wine — sharpened with verjus and layered with herbal infusions, then carried on effervescence. Across the range the recurring botanical trio is elderflower, linden and rosemary, and the blends carry no added sugar.[4]
