Keep black tea in the name

The term 釜炒り紅茶 specifies black tea. Kamairi is therefore not a reason to classify this ingredient as kamairicha, which is a green tea. Keeping the complete name makes the distinction visible: one heating term can occur in teas with different oxidation histories and very different finished characters.[1][2][3]

Why the processing sequence matters

Black tea is generally withered, rolled, oxidized and dried. Green tea is heated earlier to prevent substantial oxidation. That sequence helps explain why firing terminology alone is insufficient to identify a tea family. The exact production sequence of an individual Kamairi Black Tea requires its own source rather than a recipe borrowed from pan-fired green tea.[3][4]
