Konanna

Konanna was founded in 2024 by Konstantin Stefanik and Anna Holzer, following years of development and experimentation. Both founders grew up in the Weinviertel in northeastern Austria, surrounded by vineyards and the region's natural wine scene.^[1]

Konstantin Stefanik — co-founder. Konstantin Stefanik first approached fermentation through homebrewing before co-founding Konanna.

Anna Holzer — co-founder. Anna Holzer brings long-standing experience in juice and food production.

Konanna produces naturally fermented sparkling drinks from tea, herbs, and botanicals. The company states that its production is shaped by minimal intervention, organic ingredients, and a trust in fermentation, and that it works without blending or flavour design.^[1]

The Tea series spans a range of profiles. Tea Sencha is described as fresh and vibrant, with white grape aromas, floral and citrus character, subtle umami, light bitterness, and a clean, elegant finish. Tea Yunnan is bold and earthy, with floral, grassy, and subtly herbal notes. Tea Citronel is citrusy and dry with floral notes and a mild herbal finish. Tea Jasmine has a soft, floral character with subtle vanilla-like notes and a gentle natural sweetness.
