The name Real Fantasy is, like the rest of the Ambijus lineup, an oxymoron; the brand's product names Act Naturally, Clearly Confused and Real Fantasy are all constructed as oxymorons.

Tasting Profile
Palate. Real Fantasy is described as fruity, tangy and spicy, with a full, rounded style, ripe fruitiness and a gentle bitterness. It opens with a gentle sweetness and closes with a palate-cleansing freshness, with a touch of lingonberry and oak on the finish. The profile is marked by tannins, the warmth of pepper and fullness.[3],[4]

Real Fantasy is paired with duck pie served with a rum and rhubarb jus, oyster mushrooms and chanterelles; Ambijus notes the drink's ripe fruitiness and gentle bitterness mirroring the rum warmth, rhubarb tartness and mushroom umami.[3]
More generally, it is suggested with beef, stews, cured meats, pasta with red sauce, pizza with red sauce, cheese, chocolate and snacks, as well as with game.[4]
