Production Philosophy
Blurred Vines Sharp belongs to Three Spirit's Blurred Vines range, which the producer classifies among its non-alcoholic wines alongside Blurred Vines Spark. Three Spirit states that the Blurred Vines range is built from the ground up using functional plants, rare teas and fermented fruits rather than being de-alcoholised wine, and that it was created by winemakers and plant scientists working with functional ingredients, ethically sourced plants and fermentation methods.
Composition & Vinification
Declared ingredients. Blurred Vines Sharp is made with a cold brew botanical blend of Koseret and Manuka leaf, green gooseberry juice, fermented fruit wine (apricot juice concentrate, white grape juice concentrate, wine yeast), Californian poppy, nettle leaf, clary sage, white wine vinegar, wine tannin, L-theanine, NALT, L-histidine, coconut water, and vitamins C, D, B3, B6, B7, and B12.[1]
Recognition
Three Spirit collaborated with The Wine Society on its Next Generation Series to mark the society's 150th anniversary, producing a limited edition bottling of Blurred Vines Sharp renamed 'Botanical Brew' for the anniversary.
