Production Philosophy
Lemon & Mint is one of the seven flavours Zestea lists in its core kombucha lineup, alongside Original, Roselle, Lemongrass, Ginger Turmeric, Raw Oolong and Raw Tea Hop. Its character is built on fermentation: Zestea describes its kombucha as a fermented tea made by combining a SCOBY — a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast — with sweetened tea, the acetic acid bacteria and yeast reacting with the sweet tea to yield a sour, lightly effervescent drink.[1],[2]
Tasting Profile
Pairings
Zestea directs the bottle at fried foods, where its acidity is intended to balance richness: Taiwanese fried chicken, crispy chicken wings and fries.[3]
