Origin Story
AMA Brewery was born in San Sebastián, Spain.[1] AMA Brewery is located in Irun, Spain.[2] AMA Brewery was conceived by two chefs at the forefront of global gastronomy together with an artisanal vigneron.[1] AMA's third co-founder is Sancho Rodríguez, an artisan winemaker who grew up on the 14th-century Granja Remelluri estate in Rioja, whose father purchased the vineyard in 1967 and never used chemicals or artificial fertilizers.[1]
